I researched this product to ensure it was compatible with my Triton vacuum. Sadly it turned out not to be the case. The dimensions quoted on hoses varies between internal and external measures, something I’ve found on other products. I therefore had to purchase 6 hose converters to fit the vac to the collector, to the power tools. As far as the bin itself, well made, decent price, FFX delivered on time, so my score of 4 stars. I would mention, I also watched the Triton videos about this product before I bought. I will also say all Triton hoses are very poor quality, inflexible, not long enough and break easily. I am a retired person doing home woodworking, so not a tradesman hammering the hoses.

This is not very good - the lid doesn't seal, so most suction gets lost. When seal is taped up, even with a 1600W site vacuum, there is not enough extraction to lift dust off wood.

Really pleased with the dust collector. It is fitted to my bandsaw and, although I have not cut much so far, seems to cope well. The vac I used before suffered from clogged filters after very little cutting but now appears to run for much longer without issues which is supported by the amount of sawdust collected by this dust bucket. One small criticism and the loss of one star, the lid of the bucket could be a better fit. It does all work though and a cheaper option for collecting dust from my stand alone bandsaw. A plus is a second inlet, also fitted with a gate valve, that I fitted with a second hose to use either on handheld power tools or simply as a vacuum cleaner.

Must be used with some sort of vacuum as won't work on gravity alone. However, this will work if you can get the lid to stay on. Its very clear that you need to give quite a thump to get the lid on. I'm no slouch, 15stone, but it wont stay on. I thought it was a great idea as I do a lot of sawing but I've not yet been able to get a lot of saw dust in this bin.

Works amazingly, for the price. Not a drop of dust makes it to the vac. The filter blocks quite quickly, but a quick bang on the lid will clear it. A huge improvement on the cleanliness in my workspace!

Really good for what it does. Used with my table saw and could connect both pipes into the bucket. Found it a bit fiddly to sort the vacuum cleaner into the central point as it doesn't go directly into it, so needed a bit of fiddling around to sort it. However it did work correctly as needed.

Does what it says on the tin. Great addition to my DIY workshop.

Great product, the filter does need cleaning often, but almost no dust or debris in the vacuum.

Bought this to go with a titan wet and dry vac for dust extraction when I do the odd bit of wood working. Works very well. The quality is good enough for my needs not professional level but more then adequate for me. It’s certainly collects dust as opposed to it ending up in my vac.
