Sinclair customer, 04/07/2021Bit of a learning curve with this item. Got the hang of it and it works fine now for cutting the doors. I had to highlight the lock symbol as it is black on black and the eyes are getting old so could not see it very well in dim light. Brads do not always line the jig up correctly as they can be effected by the wood grain and pull the jig out of line. Do not like the holes left in the door by the brads as I have to spend time filling them and would not be acceptable on a varnished door. Looking for a couple of 3 inch edge clamps to hold it in place without damage to the door, Until then I just get the wife to help hold it in place while cutting the hinges. Set up and usage is getting quicker having used it a couple of times. Will not work on all door frames only ones you are making not pre shaped with the rabbet already cut.
