Works well, as all Makita tools do, but could do with longer bars to improve its versatility.
Malcolm Davies, 18/10/2023This is a great adaptor for using a router with the Makita guide rail system. Fully adjustable and supports both 1/4" and 1/2” sizes out of the box. Easy to assemble, it's a joy to use when making long straight cuts and results in perfect cuts. My only gripe is the normal price is too high. Look out for it when reduced in price.

David, 17/03/2021This works perfectly on my Makita guide rails and with slight adjustments to the screw that snugs the adaptor on the rail also on some MacAllister rails I have. Used it so far to groove out some mdf shelving with complicated partitioning and it made the whole thing hugely easier to achieve than messing about with straight bits of timber as guides. I thought I would have to drop £300 on a compatible Makita router but thanks to another reviewer am using it with my 25yo Black & Decker router which is still going strong and which it fits perfectly.
